Card authorization, step by step

Hotels require a card authorization before arrival — it guarantees the room block. It's the second of the two items on your side of the game card's "who handles what" split.

How it works

• When authorization is needed, the game card shows a DUE badge with a secure form.
• Card details are entered into a bank-grade secure form — AthleticsQ never sees or stores the full card number.
• Once authorized, the game card updates and the hotel is guaranteed. Nothing is charged until your stay per the hotel's terms.

Who pays what

Your trip invoice shows the full hotel cost breakdown — room rate, rooms, nights, and any negotiated extras — so there are no surprises at checkout.
